36 Days of Type Food Lettering Alphabet
36 days of type is an annual project started by Rafa Goicoechea & Nina Sans that invites designers, illustrators and graphic designers to share their interpretation of the letters and numbers of the alphabet through 36 consecutive days. This is my contribution to the project, focusing on the theme of sweets where each character represents a sugary food or drink that starts with that letter or number.
The dessert for each letter and number was picked out and sketched a few days in advance of the final execution to confirm that the theme could apply to all 36 days.
I pushed this letter a little further by creating a time lapse video where I ate the brownie that inspired this letter “B”.
